We won’t speculate on the specifics beyond what’s shown, but the timing alone is what’s got people talking this comes right after Barry said on camera that nothing between him and Neche would “pass this house,” citing her having someone outside and his own lingering feelings for his ex.
Naturally, fans in the replies are just as puzzled, with one person asking outright which ship is even which at this point. Between NecheBarry being publicly confirmed early on, Barry’s later comments to Goddessa about being “long term,” his flat denial about Neche, and now this keeping track of where Barry’s head is at has become its own storyline within the storyline.
