Mandla was born on August 27th, 1989 in the city of Sebokeng, which is located in the province of Gauteng in South Africa. He was born into a family of 2 sons and 7 daughters that had a total of nine children. On the other hand, we do not know the names of his parents or any of his eight other siblings. On the first day, he went into the Main House. In Week 7, when all of the housemates were in danger of being evicted owing to a conspiracy, he was one of the few who managed to avoid it by garnering 21% of the public vote.
In Week 8 the rest of the housemates put him up for eviction, but he was able to stay since he received 38% of the votes to rescue him.
After garnering 55% of the votes cast, he was declared the winner of Big Brother Mzansi 2014 during the Final Week 9 competition.
