This is about as fast a turnaround as a ship can get. Just earlier today, fans noticed an account literally named “NecheBarry” framing a conversation between the two as ship-worthy, after Neche opened up about being a “softie” following Barry’s comments on his ideal woman. At the time, it was still speculation a possible read on a friendly, flirtatious exchange. Now, with both of them directly confirming mutual interest in a house game, there’s no ambiguity left.
This makes Barry the latest and most directly confirmed connection in Neche’s increasingly busy season. She’s already been through the rollercoaster of RiChe with Ricky (kiss, regret, ongoing tension), and had her name linked to Tram in passing as well. Unlike those more complicated, back-and-forth dynamics, NecheBarry has the distinction of being mutual and clearly stated from the jump no mixed signals, no walk-backs.
