Day 10 combined nomination fallout, a full sponsored task, and some of the season’s most emotionally loaded conversations yet. Here’s everything that happened, hour by hour.
Morning: Reflection and Reassurance
The day opened with workouts and house cleanup before conversation turned to Monday night’s nominations. Tram jokingly told housemates that anyone evicted should visit his dog, while he, Sheba, and Ricky discussed their standing with the house Ricky insisting he’s unbothered by others’ opinions of him, Tram admitting there are a few housemates he genuinely likes without naming names.
Chimsom Chuka and Kamsy shared a cosy morning cuddle, with Chimsom making clear he’s determined to win her over though Kamsy was more focused on catching rest. Meanwhile, Goddessa and Araga caught up over breakfast, both admitting they were surprised by how close Nomy and Temi Nkem have become.
Diary Sessions: The House Reflects on Nominations
A wave of diary sessions revealed how housemates felt about who got saved:
- Martins described Abi as his “female version,” said he wasn’t surprised he himself wasn’t saved, but was surprised Chimsom Chuka was — given lingering unhappiness with his HOH reign.
- Mercedes said the house is growing more divided as trust fades. She saved Abi, Bells, and Flora, believing they’ve been misunderstood — and was surprised Tram made the safe list given how much negative talk she’d heard about him.
- Kamsy described the house mood as “sleepy” from exhausting rehearsals. She was shocked Tram was saved, expecting him to get less support.
- Cassi noted growing factions in the house and praised Sheba’s HOH leadership.
- Bluethopia felt nominations were driven by personal grudges rather than strategy, and was especially shocked Tram was saved over housemates like Barry or Goddessa who “contribute more around the house.”
- Aikou learned live from Biggie that he’s officially one of this season’s Gambits — a moment that left him visibly stunned.
- Nomy was handed a punishment for not fully complying with her Bench Warmer task: toilet cleaning duty for the rest of the week.
Kitchen Comedy and a Vulnerable Moment
Temi Nkem’s cooking attempt became a running joke Tram teased her over messing up noodles while trying to make jollof, and gave her dish a blunt 4/10 after tasting it.
More seriously, Bells opened up to Yusuf, confessing she’s questioning whether being in the house is even worth it and admitting she doesn’t fully know what she signed up for. Yusuf encouraged her to stop talking about leaving.
“Trouble in Paradise,” Round Two
Barry and Temi Nkem’s dynamic got a playful new layer Temi accused him of “cockblocking” her, joking that his “husband” Keivo didn’t sleep by her because of him, before Keivo joined the conversation himself.
More seriously, Araga had a heart-to-heart with Goddessa, admitting he’d avoided shipping anyone coming into the house to protect himself from getting hurt and asking her directly to let him go if she doesn’t feel the same way. Goddessa apologized, saying she doesn’t want to hurt him. By the end of the night, the two shared a hug, with Goddessa telling him she likes him a lot and appreciates what he does for her.
The First Sponsored Task: Extract
Sponsored by Satnam Investment Africa (makers of Extract soap and lotion), the task ran in three parts: paired presentations, a Nigerian Cultural Heritage runway showcase, and a swimwear showcase.
Results:
- Kamsy and Gerard won the teamwork activity.
- Best presentation honors went to Chimsom Chuka, Gerard, and Barry (men) and Neche, Abi, and Sheba (women).
- Best runway honors went to Abi and Mercedes (women) and Araga and Martins (men).
- Gerard was crowned Extract King and Abi was crowned Extract Queen.
- Nomy was punished with toilet duty again — this time for failing to wear her costume.
Mercedes and Oyin’s Fight Continues
The tension between Mercedes and Oyin that first flared over name mispronunciation escalated further, with the two trading insults well into the night. Sheba stepped in to try to defuse things.
Chimsom’s Real Position: Both, Not Either/Or
In the garden, Chimsom Chuka and Bluethopia got close, with Bluethopia telling him directly he should shoot his shot with Kamsy. His response: he’s attracted to both Bluethopia and Kamsy not a clean pivot away from Kamsy, as some earlier framing suggested, but genuine interest in both.
Late Night: Wager Practice Tension
As wager rehearsals continued into the night, Cassi took the lead while Nomy slept in the HOH loft. Mixed feelings emerged among housemates torn between wanting rest and feeling underprepared. Abi, meanwhile, kept cleaning late into the night, declaring she doesn’t care if others call her “stupid” for it she won’t live in a dirty house.
Official Week 2 Safe List (Correcting Earlier Reports)
Confirmed safe from eviction this week: Sheba (HOH), Aikou and Flora (this season’s Gambits), and Chimsom Chuka, Barry, Bells, Goddessa, and Tram (saved via house nominations). Everyone else remains up for possible eviction. Voting closes Thursday at 21:00 WAT, with the Live Eviction Show airing Sunday at 7:00 PM WAT.
With Abi and Gerard riding high off their Extract win, Mercedes and Oyin’s feud still unresolved, and Aradess seemingly patching things up after a real wobble, expect the back half of Week 2 to bring plenty of fallout.
