Mandla was born on August 27th, 1989, in the city of Sebokeng, which is located in the province of Gauteng in South Africa.  He was born into a family of 2 sons and 7 daughters that had a total of nine children. On the other hand, we do not know the names of his parents or any of his eight other siblings. His upbringing was not without its share of difficulties.

This occurred following the divorce of his parents, which compelled his mother to raise him and his siblings on her own. She raised him in a religious environment, much like other mothers who are devout for their children.

Mandla Hlatshwayo was a proprietor of a spaza business in the past. 2014 was the year that he first came to public attention. This came about as a result of his participation in the reality television show known as Big Brother Mzansi: Secrets Edition.

He was able to outlast all of the other roommates by staying in Biggie’s house for 63 days, which earned him the title of winner. Mandla Hlatshwayo is also focused on business. Before he won the one million rand, the 33-year-old man had the goal of launching a company in his hometown.

Mandla’s Journey In Big Brother Mzansi 2014

On the first day, he went into the Main House. In Week 7, when all of the housemates were in danger of being evicted owing to a conspiracy, he was one of the few who managed to avoid it by garnering 21% of the public vote.

In Week 8 the rest of the housemates put him up for eviction, but he was able to stay since he received 38% of the votes to rescue him.

After garnering 55% of the votes cast, he was declared the winner of Big Brother Mzansi 2014 during the Final Week 9 competition.
