Turns out that tense face-off between Yusuf and Tram wasn’t random after all, a new clip reveals exactly what set it off, and Tram went for the jugular.
According to the post, Tram told Yusuf that Bells had been talking about him behind his back, claiming she described him as financially struggling and not having his life together. Tram didn’t stop there, going on to call Yusuf irrelevant in the house and suggesting the only reason he’s still around is because of Bells.
That’s a genuinely harsh set of comments, hitting Yusuf’s finances, his standing in the house, and his relationship all at once. It’s worth being clear this is entirely Tram’s account of what Bells supposedly said, not something confirmed by Bells herself, and dropping a claim like that into a confrontation is exactly the kind of thing that can stir conflict whether or not it’s accurate.
Given everything else going on with Tram this season, the Sheba fallout, the flip-flopping over Temi, it wouldn’t be the first time his account of a private conversation has been worth taking with a grain of salt.
This also puts a strain on YuBells, one of the season’s steadiest, most drama-free pairings, right at a moment when fans have been enjoying watching it grow. If Tram’s claim gets back to Bells, or if Yusuf brings it up with her directly, this could turn into its own storyline entirely.
We’ll be watching to see how Yusuf and Bells navigate this, and whether Bells addresses what Tram claims she said.
