The clip shows Aikou helping Neche with her belt, engraved with her own name, in what comes across as a small, easy, comfortable moment between them. It was enough to send at least one fan into full shipper mode, gushing that their “ship” is “freaking moving” and pointing specifically to how Aikou called her over as the moment that sealed it.
It’s not just Neche-and-Aikou fans reacting either. One quote-tweet turned attention to Barry, joking that he’s “looking so confused” and can’t quite “figure out Aikou’s moves” a not-so-subtle nod to Barry’s own tangled history with Neche this season.
