After weeks of mixed signals, the “long term” comment to Goddessa, and fans reading into every clip for a hint of where things stand, Barry finally cleared it all up himself and it’s not the answer NecheBarry fans wanted.
In the clip, Barry says it plainly: “anything that wants to happen btw me and Neche won’t pass this house.” He didn’t stop there either, giving two clear reasons why. First, he says Neche “has someone outside” the house. Second, and maybe more surprising, he admits he’s “still in love with my ex.”
This is a big one. NecheBarry was supposed to be the one settled, mutual ship of the season, publicly confirmed and everything. But between the earlier “Neche is for this house, you’re for long term” line to Goddessa, and now this straight-up admission that nothing real is happening, it’s starting to look like Barry’s side of the story was never quite what fans thought it was.
Fans are already reacting, and it’s easy to see why this isn’t a rumor or someone else’s read on the situation, it’s Barry saying it himself, on camera. Where this leaves Neche, and how she reacts once she hears it, is the next thing everyone’s waiting on.
