The Barry-Goddessa storyline just got another chapter, and this time Goddessa isn’t playing along with the banter she’s laying it all out plainly.
In a clip shared on X, Goddessa is heard explaining her stance on initiative, using Barry as her direct example: “if you do not take initiative I am not going to get it done for you.” She goes on to lay out the full frustration Barry telling her he likes her and wants to spend time getting to know her, but reportedly not backing it up with real effort.
Her verdict is blunt: “I’m supposed to be chasing you Barry, I am not going to do that.” She then rattles off everything Barry’s apparently told her he sees in her. her talent, her voice, her personality before calling out the obvious: “you’re sounding like you want something more.”
It’s a pretty direct callout, and fans immediately connected it to the now-viral moment where Barry told Goddessa she was “for long term” while Neche was “for this house.” If Goddessa’s account here is accurate, it sounds like Barry’s words haven’t quite matched his actions since then.
Naturally, the clip is stirring up questions of its own. One fan’s reaction has been getting attention for asking the obvious: “Doesn’t she have Araga? Why is she worried about him not chasing her?” a fair point given Aradess remains one of the season’s most emotionally consistent ships. Whether this is Goddessa simply venting about a confusing dynamic with Barry, or something fans should read more into, isn’t clear from the clip alone.
Either way, this storyline just refuses to stay quiet, and with Aradess now part of the conversation too, we’ll be watching closely for how this plays out.
