Just when we thought NecheBarry was the one settled ship this season publicly confirmed, “I’m yours” and all a clip has surfaced that’s got fans doing a full double-take.
The video, captioned with the exchange word-for-word, shows Barry telling Goddessa: “I’d love you to be the mother of my kids.” Goddessa, clearly caught off guard but playing along, shoots back: “What about Neche?” Barry’s answer is the part sending Twitter into a frenzy: “Neche is for this house, you’re for long term.” Goddessa, laughing it off, responds: “Aww that’s cute, I’ll have your babies too.”
Read that again, because fans certainly did multiple times. If the quotes are accurate, Barry appears to be drawing a very clear line between a “for the house” connection and a “long term” one, and putting Neche on one side of it while Goddessa lands on the other. For a ship that was framed as mutual and genuine just days ago, that’s the kind of line that reopens every question fans thought was closed.
It’s important to flag: this is one exchange, caught on camera, and context can shift everything in a house where flirty banter, jokes, and genuine feeling often blur together. Goddessa’s own response laughing and playing along suggests she may have taken it as exactly that: banter, not a declaration. But with the clip already past 200K views, plenty of viewers aren’t reading it that lightly, and NecheBarry’s “confirmed” status is suddenly back up for debate.
There’s also the small matter that Goddessa is one half of Aradess, the season’s most emotionally consistent pairing so this moment is being watched from more than one angle in the fandom.
